The mountainous state of Nagaland is located on the eastern boundary of Northeast India bordering the Kingdom of Myanmar and remains home to the sixteen Naga tribes, each with distinct culture, tribal traditions and language. It is a land of festivals and folklore that have been passed down for generations. Nagaland has always attracted numerous visitors and curious anthropologists from around the world, who have come to learn more about the tribal lifestyles of these once-headhunters. Nagaland hosts the popular Hornbill Festival every year in December, which is one of the biggest tourism event in the Indian subcontinent.

Transfer from Dibrugarh to Mon. Our drive to Mon in Nagaland will be through lush green valley of the tea estates of Assam. The journey will take about 5 hours. This district is inhabited by the KONYAK TRIBE. Check into hotel on arrival. Dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Mon
After early breakfast visit drive to Longwa village on the Indo-Burma border (45 kms/ 02 hrs one way). Walk in the village and learn about the Konyak Nagas. Today we will provide packed lunch. And then from here drive over to another traditional village of the Konyaks, Hongphui village (40 km/ 02 hrs one way). Return to Mon. Dinner & Overnight.
Day 11:
Mon to Dibrugarh (180 km/ 08 hrs)

These visas are for single entry strictly for the purpose of Tourism and for a short period of up to a maximum of 60 days.
