There are varieties of destinations and program for enthusiastic adventure traveler. On one hand one can go for hiking in the high peaks in Himalayan on the other the soft trekking in different regions. One can go bungee jumping in Rishikesh, river rafting in Ganges, Zanskar.

The Markha Valley in Ladakh and Zanskar Wanla trek provides wealth of beautiful spots, greenery barren mountains small lakes and streams Uttar Kashi (Flower Valley) gives pleasure of being in the midest of herbal plants in the forests. Darjeeling and Sikkim are other very important destinations for hiking and trekking.

Trekking in India is very different from the hiking in the West as trails are the lifeline between villages. It is not unusual to find yourself sharing the trail with a lama on his way to remote Gompa or a shepherd making his way up to a high pasture and it is this close interaction with the local people that makes it such an enriching experience.

COORG:
Coorg has achieved an international recognition for being one of the most important biodiversity hotspots of the world. The Western Ghats are the main ranges that extend from Subramanya in the north-west to the Brahmagiris in the south. The topography forms divides in the regions which provides trekkers with number of trails to explore. The wide area is now covered under Coffee plantations which we shall see during our walks.

Day 1: Arrive Bangalore:

Day 2: Bangalore -Mysore: 140 Kms 3-4 Hrs
After breakfast, we take a short city tour. Later drive to Mysore. On our way we visit Srirangapatnam one time capital of King Tipu Sultan.

Day 3: In Mysore
Sightseeing in Mysore and SriRangapatna

Day 4: Mysore - Coorg: 150 kms 4-5 Hrs drive
Morning visit Mysore palace and nearby areas. Start our drive to the hills of Coorg/Kodagu to reach Madikeri headquarters of Coorg.

Day 5/8: Trek through the jungles, plantation trails, hills and villages around the Madikeri area.
The area covered will be Vanachalu, Kottabetta peak, Nishani peak, Kaloor, Talatmane, Madanadu, Kadamakolli. Overnight stay at village homestays / tent camping. The walk will be between 10 & 20 kms per day ( 4 to7 hrs of walk each day )

Day 9: Drive to Chikmaglur: 165 kms 4-5 Hrs
Today we leave the hills of Coorg and drive in to the forests of Chickmaglur.

Day 10: In Chikmaglur
Jungle Safari Bhadra National Park- Muthodi Forest Reserve. Today we go for a Jungle Safari in Muthodi Forest Reserve (located within Bhadra National Park), one of the famous Tiger Reserves in Karnataka also famous for its Elephants, barking deer, The great Indian Gaur ,panther peacock. Evening at Leisure.

Day 11: Drive to Hospet: 300kms 6-7 Hrs
Fairly a long drive as we leave the foresty areas of Chikmagalur and reach more subtle level of Lowlands. We arrive Hospet around evening.

Day 12: Hospet - Hampi- Hospet
A little away from Hospet is Hampi, (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Once the capital city of Vijanagara Parched with granite structures. The kings of Vijanmagra ruled from here during 14th and 16th Centuries before Islam took it over. Today Hampi is very famous for Ruins and Temples of the erstwhile Hindu Dynasty and perhaps the finest examples of ruins from the past. We have a full day excursion to the place.

Day 13: Hospet- Bangalore. 360 Kms 6-7 Hrs Drive
The last day of our trip, we drive back to Bengalore. Tour Ends.
