There are varieties of destinations and program for enthusiastic adventure traveler. On one hand one can go for hiking in the high peaks in Himalayan on the other the soft trekking in different regions. One can go bungee jumping in Rishikesh, river rafting in Ganges, Zanskar.
The Markha Valley in Ladakh and Zanskar Wanla trek provides wealth of beautiful spots, greenery barren mountains small lakes and streams Uttar Kashi (Flower Valley) gives pleasure of being in the midest of herbal plants in the forests. Darjeeling and Sikkim are other very important destinations for hiking and trekking.
Trekking in India is very different from the hiking in the West as trails are the lifeline between villages. It is not unusual to find yourself sharing the trail with a lama on his way to remote Gompa or a shepherd making his way up to a high pasture and it is this close interaction with the local people that makes it such an enriching experience.
Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Day 2: Drive to Manali. 12 Hrs
Day 3: In ManaliFull Day leisure to explore the Himalayan town of Manali.
Day 4: Manali-Keylong[115 KMS, 6 HRS DRIVE
After breakfast, drive to Keylong over the Rohtang Pass (3980 M). Reach Keylong / Jispa and check into hotel. Evening at leisure.
Day 5: Keylong- Tsokar [260KMS, 9 HRS DRIVE
after breakfast, drive to Tsokar over Baralacha Pass (4830 m). Evening at leisure & overnight in tents near the Lake.
Day 6: Tsokar - Leh (150 KMS, 7 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast, drive to Leh over Lachungla (5019 m) and Tanglang La (5360 m) to reach in the evening. Check into hotel. Overnight. (BREAKFAST)
Day 7: In Leh
After breakfast, full Day at leisure to explore Leh.
Day 8: Khardungla Trip [140 KMS, 6 HRS DRIVE]
After breakfast, drive to the highest motorable read in the world- Khardungla Pass (5360m) to return back by noon.
Day 9: Leh-Delhi
After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. Arrive Delhi, Evening Departure transfer to International Airport.
